Favorite Super Bowl Commercials from Super Bowl XLII

Super Bowl ads are always interesting, even if the game isn't. At this year's Super Bowl XLII, there was no shortage of excitement on the field, but the ads provided some good times as well.

It's fun and fascinating watching what advertisers and ad agencies come up with for this most-expensive of all TV events. You'd think that with all the money they pay for the time slots, every ad will be the most amazing thing ever seen on 30 seconds of television.

In fact, everyone tries to put on the world's greatest and most memorable superbowl ad, but Super Bowl commercials that are flops are as common as...well, boring bowl games, which happen often enough.

As always, this year there were some great superbowl commercials, and some dumb ones, and a few where I just didn't get the point.

I reviewed them all and came up with my Top Ten Favorite Super Bowl Commercials.

Besides being entertained, you can learn a lot from these Super Bowl commercials about video filming and editing techniques. Some of the ads rely on gazillion-dollar special effects, but others are just creative and clever.
